Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee the financial management of our organization.
- The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial strategy.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports, presenting insights on financial performance to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage the budgeting process for the organization, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals.
- Oversee the preparation and regular updating of financial forecasts, identifying key financial risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with department heads and senior leadership to ensure departmental budgets align with organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement long-term financial strategies, including capital allocation, investment planning, and cost control.
- Develop and maintain financial models and business plans to guide decision-making.
- Provide leadership in setting financial goals and objectives for the organization.
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Coordinate with treasury and other departments to manage the company's financial risks and funding requirements.
- Evaluate cash flow forecasts and work with stakeholders to ensure cash flow stability.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Implement robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and prevent financial misreporting.
- Liaise with external auditors during the audit process and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive high performance and professional growth.
- Set clear expectations and goals for the finance team, providing continuous feedback and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to encourage innovation and problem-solving.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A Master's degree (MBA) or a relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA, CMA) is preferred.
- 6-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a senior financial management or leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), and financial reporting practices.
