Job Description
- Manage a team of quality engineers to provide guidance or feedback on areas of improvement.
- Coach, motivate and inspire QE team members to achieve and exceed performance results.
- Develop robust functional and performance tests with team to support functional and sizing requirements, collaborating closely with development and operations teams to experiment and optimize environment sizing.
- Increase automation in the modules with early feedback to developers by shifting left and influencing the right tool sets required.
- Analyze test cases and conditions to determine optimal running tests by evaluating root cause in product support tickets and adjusting test patterns
- Stay up to date on contemporary software development best practices, emerging technologies, and design patterns, contributing to thought leadership initiatives.
- Develop and implement QA strategies aligned with business goals
- Drive adoption of industry standard QE methodologies and practices.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the SDVLC
- Conduct code reviews of test scripts and assist in complex debugging scenarios
- Define and track quality metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in related field (Computer Science, Computer Networking, IT Systems)
- 10 - 15 years experience as a QA and testing Manager. Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and career development.
- Proven ability to create, revamp, improve processes to increase efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, people management and best practices.
- Understanding technologies, mentoring team, managing QE Team across multiple platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, RCM, Automation and Performance.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with distributed systems / micro service architecture.
- Relevant certifications in ISTQB.
