Information Services department is seeking a quality analyst to add to our project Scrum team. The ideal candidate would have four or more years of experience building and executing test cases. This position will be responsible for both QA test case development and execution to ensure business requirements are being met and quality standards are being upheld. Top candidates would have solid data analysis and analytical skills and work well with a team based environment. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with solid education and experience with the ability to work for a fast-paced, organization. Responsibilities: Advise on test strategy best practices, determine test standards, and build out master test plan. Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts such as test data, data validation, and scripts. Execute the plan and manage all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. Ensure top quality by identifying potential issues and documenting test results before the product goes live. Backend database testing SQL and validating using SQL queries. Accurately document software defects. Perform testing in terms of functionality with multiple systems. Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Work as a key player within the Scrum team by providing feedback and executing on testing deliverables. Adhere to IS Department and project team policies and best practices. Communicates and coordinates with Project Manager and scrum team to ensure deliverables are being met. Ability to not only verify functional requirements, but understand the data and confirm it s being calculated correctly. Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal team members as well as business stakeholders. Ability to translate business and technical requirements into functional test plans. Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment. Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment. Ability to deliver results leveraging SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile. Must have a positive can-do attitude. Strong problem solving characteristics with the ability to think outside the box. Must be able to work with others in a collaborative fashion. Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience designing and executing test cases. Minimum 3 years of experience developing SQL queries to test data. Minimum 3 years of experience using manual testing system management tools. Experience on web testing Good to have some exposure of automation testing using Selenium. Good to have SAP and API testing knowledge. Have worked in Agile and Scrum project. Experience with collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence Familiarity with sales terminology related to healthcare domain Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution processes Good to have experience in writing and executing test cases using Zephyr or similar tool. Educational Qualification B.E, MCA or B. SC degree in Computer Science or related.
