Job Description

Job Purpose:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to the business by providing HR support and advice to managers and employees. The HRBP works closely with leadership to align HR practices with the business goals, fostering a culture of high performance, inclusion, and employee engagement. The role will support the design and implementation of HR strategies that drive talent development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Partnership:
    • Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on people-related issues.
    • Partner with leadership to understand business goals and challenges and provide proactive HR solutions.
    • Support leadership in creating and executing HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy.
  2. Talent Management:
    • Lead talent management initiatives such as succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
    • Partner with managers to identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent.
    • Implement recruitment strategies to ensure the business has the right talent.
  3. Employee Relations:
    • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
    • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and management to resolve workplace conflicts.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while fostering a positive work environment.
  4. Organizational Development:
    • Support organizational design and restructuring efforts to improve business performance.
    • Provide expertise in change management, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational changes.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through feedback, development programs, and recognition.
  5. Performance Management:
    • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback.
    • Partner with managers to address performance issues and provide coaching and development support.
  6. Compensation & Benefits:
    • Collaborate with the compensation team to ensure the business is competitive in terms of employee compensation and benefits.
    • Advise managers on compensation adjustments and incentive programs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  7. Learning & Development:
    • Collaborate with learning and development teams to ensure training and development programs meet the needs of the business.
    • Drive initiatives to develop leadership capabilities and build a high-performance culture.
  8. HR Metrics & Reporting:
    • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.
    • Provide actionable insights to leadership and make data-driven decisions to support business outcomes.
  9. Diversity & Inclusion:
    • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives that foster an equitable and inclusive work environment.
    • Partner with leadership to create a diverse and inclusive culture.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in HR, in a business partner or strategic HR role.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, compensation structures, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
    • High emotional intelligence and relationship management skills.
    • Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., Workday, SAP, etc.).
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use HR analytics to inform decisions.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, on-site or hybrid depending on the company’s policy.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
