Role PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Practice Head & Solution Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Practice Head & Solution Architect to lead and drive the growth of our PLM practice. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in PLM solutions, industry best practices, and a strong technical background to define, implement, and optimize PLM systems for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategy Development

Lead the PLM practice, setting strategic direction, goals, and priorities to drive growth and deliver customer success.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and internal teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored PLM solutions.
Provide strategic thought leadership, keeping the practice at the forefront of industry trends, technologies, and methodologies.
Develop the PLM practice s go-to-market strategy and manage the practice s business performance, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
Mentor and guide teams in PLM best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

2. Solution Architecture & Design

Architect, design, and lead the implementation of end-to-end PLM solutions tailored to clients needs, ensuring scalability, integration, and adaptability to evolving business requirements.
Provide high-level technical leadership on all PLM engagements, ensuring solution architecture meets both business and technical requirements.
Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand client s operations and define appropriate PLM solutions.
Oversee the design and integration of PLM solutions with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, SCM, etc.), ensuring seamless interoperability.

3. Practice Management and Growth

Build and scale the PLM practice, ensuring effective resource allocation, project management, and delivery.
Lead business development activities, including RFP responses, proposals, and presentations to potential clients.
Establish PLM frameworks, processes, and methodologies for solution delivery, ensuring consistency and quality across engagements.
Drive the development of intellectual property (IP), accelerators, and reusable assets to enhance the practice s capabilities.

4. Client Engagement and Project Delivery

Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-time PLM projects.
Manage client relationships, ensuring consistent communication, project updates, and proactive issue resolution.
Identify opportunities for expanding existing client relationships and driving additional revenue through upselling or new service offerings.

5. Team Building and Talent Development

Build and lead a high-performing PLM team of architects, consultants, and developers.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive environment, driving employee engagement and growth.
Provide coaching, training, and career development to team members, ensuring the growth of PLM expertise within the organization.

Experience

15+ years of experience in PLM solutions and practice leadership, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale PLM implementations.
Strong background in PLM platforms (e.g., PTC Windchill, Dassault Systems, Siemens Teamcenter, Autodesk Vault, etc.).
Experience in designing, architecting, and implementing PLM solutions across multiple industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, energy, etc.
Expertise in integration of PLM with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
Prior experience managing and leading teams in a consulting or delivery capacity.
Experience in client-facing roles, managing stakeholder expectations, and delivering value-driven solutions.

Skills

Strong understanding of product lifecycle processes, data management, and product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to define and articulate complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of PLM industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends.
Proven ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and effective execution.

Certifications

PLM or relevant solution certifications (e.g., PTC Windchill Certified, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systems, etc.) are a plus.
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, etc.) are a plus.
