Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled .NET API Developer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using SOAP, REST, and Web API frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building scalable and efficient API solutions that integrate seamlessly with various applications and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust APIs (SOAP, REST, Web API) to support business applications.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable API services.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure the reliability of APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing APIs for performance improvements.
• Document API specifications and usage guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in API development, including security, versioning, and error handling.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Monitor and analyze API performance, applying enhancements as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in .NET development with a focus on API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/Core.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API.
• Knowledge/Experience in developing SOAP-based services using WCF (Windows Communication Foundation).
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, and SoapUI for testing and documentation.
• Knowledge of API security best practices (e.g., TLS, OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Experience with database integration (SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles.
• Proficiency in version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
