Java Developer - Distributed Systems (6-12 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join our cross-functional product development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing critical components of our highly scalable platform. You will collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and test Java-based components of our platform.

- Work with architects and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure high-quality code and rigorous testing.

- Optimize system performance and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and time complexity analysis.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.

- Experience with cloud-based systems (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

- Expertise in RESTful API design and development.

- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with real-time data processing engines (e.g., Kafka, Flink).

- Knowledge of low-latency systems and high-performance computing.

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
