Purchase Manager

• Who has worked in manufacturing plant and has excellent experience in sourcing chemicals, plant and spare items(mechanical, electrical, instruments and civil items) and project purchases for Egypt.
• Ensure all supplies are sourced and delivered at the plant at regular intervals and in time.
• Plan, source and maintain minimum inventory level and at the same time ensure no excess stocks.
• Prepare comparative statement, take approval from senior management and issue Purchase Order based on price, quality, time and other terms and conditions.
• Develop new vendors in order to increase sourcing options.
• Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through inventory planning.
• Maintain up-to-date price list for chemical materials.
• Responsible for settling warranty claims with supplier for Inferior / Defective /Wrong quality material received which is rejected.
• Submission of monthly MIS to management.

Desired profile of the candidate:

• B.E. / B.Tech. with specialization in supply chain management / material management with minimum 10-years of experience.

Generic relevant parameters:

• Excellent ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.
• Able to deal with international suppliers.
• Having global sourcing knowledge is mandatory.
• Should have sound knowledge of Excel,Word and Power point
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
