Associate Director/Senior Program Manager - Supply Chain (10-18 yrs)

We are hiring for a SCM person who have exp from quick commerce industry. The This will be a AD/Senior Program Manager level position.

Need relevant experience in designing and implementing programs around managing SCM cost, building new models of delivery across various ecosystems, running large delivery teams via own/3P fleets etc.

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Lead- Delivery Experience to ensure a seamless, efficient, and cost effective delivery process. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing delivery operations in quick commerce or food ordering and is skilled in last-mile logistics, rider engagement, and operational excellence. This role is at the intersection of technology and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and execute delivery operations plan across all dark stores, ensuring 120-minute delivery targets.

- Cost Optimization Strategies: Developing initiatives to reduce supply chain expenses, such as optimizing inventory management, minimizing warehousing costs, and reducing last-mile delivery expenses.

- Streamlining processes like order fulfilment, route planning, and returns management to reduce operational waste and enhance cost efficiency. Introducing innovative approaches like shared fleets, gig workforce delivery, or micro-fulfilment centres to lower delivery costs without compromising speed or reliability. forward-thinking approach to transforming delivery operations to meet evolving customer demands and market challenges

- Manage rider performance, engagement, and retention to enhance productivity.

- Collaborate with product and tech teams to develop tools that improve operational efficiency.

- Scale operations as we expand into new cities and four-wheeler spare parts.

- Monitor KPIs (delivery timelines, rider productivity, customer satisfaction) and implement improvements.

- Designing delivery frameworks that are adaptable to diverse industries (e.g., grocery, food, pharmacy, electronics) and customer preferences. Creating alternative or enhanced delivery approaches tailored to specific needs, such as hyperlocal delivery, subscription-based models, or express delivery for specific customer segments.

- Implementing advanced technologies such as AI-driven route optimization, real-time tracking, drones, or autonomous vehicles to improve delivery speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Partnering with various stakeholders, such as local businesses, warehousing facilities, last-mile delivery providers, or technology platforms, to create a robust and flexible delivery network.

What are we looking for:

- 6-8 years of experience in quick commerce, food ordering, or last-mile delivery experience, however we are looking for a candidate with 10 -12yrs of over all experience who can handle large teams.

- Relevant experience in designing and implementing programs around managing SCM cost

- Experience with building new models of delivery across various ecosystems

- Experience with running large delivery teams via own/3P fleets etc.

- Expertise in delivery operations, rider engagement, and achieving timeline targets within cost constraints

- Strong collaboration with product and tech teams for functional enhancements

- Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
