Assistant Manager -Taxation (Max Lab)

Role & responsibilities

• Advance Tax Computation and deposition for assigned entities
• Quarterly provision for Taxation which includes Computation of Current Tax, Deferred Tax
• Computation and Deposition of TDS for assigned entities
• Preparation of Contingent Liability Schedule/Statutory Liabilities Schedule
• Arranging data for Tax Audit and ITR filing of assigned entities
• Preparation & filing of Tax Audit Report and ITR
• Through Review and Filing of TARs and ITRs
• Preparation & filing of Form 61/61A for assigned entities
• Supporting in timely closure of Income Tax/TDS Assessments and other tax notices
• Supporting in issuance of Form-15CA/CB, assessing implication of Domestic IT provisions and DTAA on foreign payments
• Keeping updated TDS Receivable reconciliation 
• Review/Filing of GST related returns/documentation for assigned entities 
• Support in standardizing processes, preparing process notes and ensuring effective implementation across all/assigned entities of Max Healthcare Network 
• Periodic review of all Tax related control process of assigned entities
• Periodic review of tax record retention processes, identifying gaps and suggesting and implementing Remedial Action Plan 
• Performing research on relevant tax issues 

Preferred candidate profile

 To be successful in this role, you should:

• Be a Qualified Chartered Accountant/CA-Inter;
• Be a self-starter, motivated and result oriented individual
• Have minimum 2 years of experience into Direct Taxation (Income Tax, TDS) and GST; 
• Has Practical experience of Indirect tax 
• Have worked with mid/large organization/tax consulting firm
