Profile - Product Designer

Location - Remote

Key Responsibilities -
User Research & Insights

• Conduct user research to understand the needs, workflows, and pain points of contact center professionals supporting inbound and outbound campaigns, from agents to QA Managers to Team Leaders and Supervisors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define target user personas and their interaction with the product.
• Synthesize research insights into actionable design opportunities.

Workflow Design & Prototyping

• Design intuitive and efficient user workflows for analyzing conversational data across chat, email, and voice call interactions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and validate designs with end users.
• Develop solutions that prioritize ease of use, actionable insights, and user productivity.

Analytics & Reporting Design

• Work closely with the product manager, product architect and engineering team to design user-centric dashboards and reporting features.
• Ensure that analytics visualizations (e.g., sentiment trends, performance comparisons, conversational patterns) are easy to interpret and drive business decisions.
• Continuously enhance reporting capabilities based on user feedback, AI model outputs, and evolving business needs.

AI-Driven UX & Data Visualization

• Design interactive visualizations that help users understand AI-generated insights in a meaningful way.
• Develop UX patterns for AI-powered features such as smart summarization, predictive alerts, and recommended performance coaching topics, etc.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with the product manager, product architect and engineering team to align design with technical feasibility and business goals.
• Communicate design concepts, research findings, and rationale to stakeholders, ensuring seamless hand-offs to engineering.

Usability Testing & Validation

• Plan and conduct usability testing to validate workflows, designs, and feature enhancements.
• Analyze usability testing outcomes and refine designs to improve user satisfaction and efficiency.

Scalable Design System

• Develop and maintain a consistent design system, ensuring scalability as the product grows.
• Define UI/UX patterns, components, and standards to be used across the platform.

Innovation & Industry Trends

• Stay up to date on industry trends in conversational analytics, sentiment analysis, and AI-powered UX.
• Propose innovative design ideas to differentiate the solution in the market and enhance user value.

Key Qualifications - 
UX/UI & Product Design Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or interaction design for SaaS applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing data-heavy SaaS solutions, analytics platforms, or AI-powered applications.
• Expertise in user research, usability testing, and human-centered design methodologies.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience designing data visualization and reporting interfaces for business users.

AI/ML & Conversational Analytics UX

• Experience designing user experiences for AI/ML-powered products, particularly in conversational analytics, NLP, and sentiment analysis.
• Ability to translate complex AI-driven insights into clear, actionable UI elements.

Cross-Functional & Communication Skills

• Ability to work in cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and AI/data teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing SaaS solutions for sales, marketing, or contact center professionals.
• Knowledge of front-end development principles to collaborate effectively with engineers.
