Product Designer Responsibilities
1. User Research & Insights
◦ Conduct user research to understand the needs, workflows, and pain points of sales, marketing, and contact center professionals.
◦ Collaborate with stakeholders to define target user personas and their interaction with the product.
◦ Synthesize research insights into actionable design opportunities.
2. Workflow Design & Prototyping
◦ Design intuitive and efficient user workflows for analyzing conversational data across chat, email, and voice call interactions.
◦ Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and validate designs with end users.
◦ Develop solutions that prioritize ease of use and actionable insights.
3. Analytics & Reporting Design
◦ Work closely with data scientists and engineers to design user-centric dashboards and reporting features.
◦ Ensure analytics visualizations (e.g., sentiment trends, performance comparisons, and conversational patterns) are easy to interpret and actionable.
◦ Continuously enhance reporting to align with evolving business needs.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
◦ Partner with product managers, developers, and data teams to align design with technical feasibility and business goals.
◦ Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders and ensure smooth hand-offs to engineering teams.
◦ Incorporate feedback from internal teams and users into iterative design improvements.
5. Usability Testing & Validation
◦ Plan and conduct usability testing to validate workflows, designs, and feature enhancements.
◦ Analyze usability testing outcomes and refine designs to improve user satisfaction and efficiency.
6. Scalable Design System
◦ Develop and maintain a consistent design system, ensuring scalability as the product grows.
◦ Define UI/UX patterns, components, and standards for use across the platform.
7. Innovation & Trends
◦ Stay informed about industry trends in conversational analytics, sentiment analysis, and user experience design.
◦ Propose innovative design ideas to differentiate the solution in the market and enhance user value.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing data-heavy SaaS solutions or analytics platforms.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience with data visualization and designing actionable reporting features.
• Familiarity with designing for both desktop and mobile interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Bonus: Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, conversational analytics, or sentiment analysis.
• Bonus: Experience designing SaaS solutions supporting end users in sales, marketing, and / or contact centers.
