Education: B.Tech/Diploma-In Mechanical Engineering

Experience (# years): B.Tech 12-15 years/Diploma 18-20 Years Industry Steel /aluminium Cold
Rolling Division/Cast House/Hot Rolling

Past/Current Companies: Relevant /Heavy Engineering Companies

Job Purpose/Summary

“To maintain the Equipment health to ensure proper functioning of equipment's round the clock & for attending Machine breakdowns time to time. Planning for doing Preventive Maintenance of the Equipment's as per PM Schedule & Check List.”

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance,Preventive Maintenance.
• Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment.
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Removing old equipment and installing new machines.
• Spares Planning , Indenting of spares,follow up with Stores/Purchase team.
• Shut Down Planning, Involvement in Major Break Downs.
• Shift Duties as per Schedule.
• Record keeping of Equipment, updating History Register/Cards.
• Preparing Reports as per Management Information System(MIS), down time analysis Report, Annual Budget etc.
• Proving technical support and training on new equipment to Subordinates.
• Responding to Operation team call-outs to attend issues.

Required Skills

• Proven work experience as a maintenance engineer.
• Ability to read system schematics, drawings.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge to all safety gazettes and rules & regulations.
• Good communication and training skills.
• Ability to work with heavy equipment
• Computer literacy
• Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance documentation.

Preference to-
Candidates who are from Relevant field i.e. Aluminium Cold Rolled Sheet /Foil Product Industries, Steel Cold Rolling Industries , Aluminium continuous casting Plants,Tube Plants, candidates having good exposure of Hydraulic System.
