Program Overview:
Clearing is one of the most critical application in the payment eco system. It is responsible for exchanging financial information between all the institutions globally. The application clears every successful authorized transaction which happens on a Mastercard anywhere in the globe. It is responsible for deciding the money exchange which needs to happen between issuers and acquirers and enables the issuer to post financial transactions to the statement of the cardholders. The sheer volume the application processes on a single day is a testimonial to the performance and architecture. We are a diverse group encouraging ownership, innovation and constant endeavor to improve.

Role:
Hands-on developer who writes high quality, secure code that is modular, functional and testable.
Lead the design, implementation, and delivery for engineering efforts spanning 1-2 teams.
Contribute to all parts of the software s development including design, development, documentation, and testing.
Have strong ownership of your team s software and are deep in the maintenance characteristics, runtime properties and dependencies including hardware, operating system, and build.
Communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a global environment.

All About You
Minimum bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science or extensive work experience.
3+ Years of Hands-on Software development experience.
Strong domain knowledge of Java 8 (or later). Spring Boot knowledge is required.
Experience with User interface development framework (Angular preferred)
Experience with databases: Relational NoSQL.
Experience with cloud based infrastructure: Azure, AWS or GCP.
Current understanding of best practices regarding application system security
Experience in data analytics knowledge, experience with ETL, Data Modelling Pattern analysis is desired.
Willing to learn new technology stack and available to support customer production environments for issue mitigation.
Success with producing high quality project design deliverables and documentation
Thorough and extensive knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
