• Re-engineer GWO applications that are used in Operations planning and decision making.
• Provide an intuitive UI to the users to efficiently interact with the app and data to make operations decision making efficient.
• Implement company and industry standard solutions for better quality build and maintenance.
• Create documentation for technical artefacts.
• Design and develop: Create user interactions on various websites and platforms and develop databases and services for functionality.
• Front-end development: Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design using languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Back-end development: Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications using server-side languages such as Python, .NET.
• API development: Write effective APIs to connect different parts of the software.
• Testing and debugging: Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Security: Create security and data protection settings.
• Collaboration: Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions and improve software by working with data scientists and analysts.
• Version control: Use GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaboration with other developers. Manage repositories, branches, and pull requests to ensure smooth development workflows.
• Ability to set ambitious standards in applying practices across the squad in areas such as Unit testing, Automation, ATDD, DevOps, CI/CD, design, and code reviews.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical / Behavioral

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end and back-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python). (.NET is good to have)
• Familiarity with development frameworks [Must have] (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js)
• Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, SSMS, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well in a team, matrixed environment.

The Skills that are Good To Have for this role

• Experience with DevOps engineering to implement continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins and uDeploy tools; analyzing code quality issues using Sonar; implementing application resiliency procedures using HP Operations Orchestration; and process management using HP Service Manager and ServiceNow
• Exposure to Cloud Technologies such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Kubernetes which would be an added advantage.
