Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in MS SQL Server Database administration
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server architecture, internals, and performance tuning techniques
- Strong T-SQL Skills for query optimizations and performance
- Experience with at least SQL Server versions from SQL Server 2022/2019/2016/2014
- Strong knowledge of Windows Failover Cluster Server and SQL Server AlwaysOn
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification on MS SQL Server Administration
Nice to Have:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of an additional DBMS product like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc is an advantage
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure will be plus
- Experience in SSIS/SSRS/SSAS will be plus
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell/Python
- Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence
