Role Overview :

As an Oracle Application Framework (OAF) Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and customizing Oracle applications to meet specific business needs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical consultation, and ensure seamless integration with other Oracle modules and external systems.

Your expertise will contribute to resolving technical issues, maintaining performance, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

OAF Development :

- Design, develop, and customize applications using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) to address business requirements.

- Create user-friendly interfaces and robust back-end logic within the OAF architecture.

Technical Consultation :

- Provide expert guidance on OAF best practices, standards, and implementation strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Requirements Gathering :

- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements.

- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.

Integration Development :

- Develop and implement integration solutions between OAF applications and other Oracle modules or external systems.

- Ensure seamless data flow and system compatibility.

Issue Resolution :

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to OAF applications.

- Ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

Documentation :

Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including :

- Design specifications.

- User manuals.

- Deployment instructions.

Mentoring :

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Promote knowledge sharing and adherence to Oracle development standards.

Key Result Areas (KRAs) :

- Timely delivery of high-quality OAF customizations and developments.

- Effective resolution of system issues to minimize downtime.

- Successful integration of OAF applications with other Oracle modules or external systems.

- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.

- Active contribution to the skill development of junior team members.

Qualifications and Skills :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development.

- Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite and its various modules.

Technical Expertise :

Proficiency in :

- Java.

- XML.

- Technologies specific to OAF development.

- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

- Oracle Forms and Reports.

- Workflow Builder.

- Oracle BI Publisher.

- Personalization frameworks in Oracle EBS.

Familiarity with :

- Version control systems.

- Agile development methodologies (preferred).

- WebLogic Server and its configuration.

- Performance tuning of OAF applications.
