Job Description
- Experience in UNIX platforms support in a large-scale environment.
- Full Exposure with Redhat Linux, IBM AIX, HP UNIX, Oracle Linux and other flavors of Linux
- Cloud and Virtualization Management
- Proficient with Redhat upgrades, performing OS migrations
- Experience with Hardening and exposure with security standards like CIS baselines, Vulnerability management
- Possess skills on Virtualization technologies like VMware, Redhat OpenShift, IBM VIOS, HP VSP
- OS Patching IBM AIX, HP-UNIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Redhat satellites and other flavors of Linux
- IBM Power Hardware, HP Itanitum, Dell, x86 Hardwares installation and configuration
- Experience with Shell scripting and Automation
- Experience with Firmware upgrades for Server hardware
- Experience with Hyper converged hardware and engineered hardware such as Oracle Exa-Cc, Dell VxRail
- 24*7 Support BAU Incident, Change and Problem Management
- Support project activities, Server builds, Cloud portal management
- Exposure to Docker, Containers, Kubernetes
- OS Installations, Application Deployments, Monitoring health, capacity and performance
- 15+ years of experience in UNIX platforms support in a large-scale environment
- Skills On-prem and Cloud environments
- Skills in architecting, implementing and providing post implementation support
- Ensure on time service delivery to internal and external customers
- Exposure in large-scale upgrades, migrations and transitions in the support area.
- Security implementation of the products coming under the portfolio
- Problem, Incident, escalation and change management in line with ITIL process
- Adoption of new technologies and open-source support
