Job Description
- The role provides support, maintenance, and development of enhancements for Trade and other application process. Role is responsible to meet operational, processing, data and information security.
- Analyze business requirement and translate it into technical specification.
- Participate in effort estimation and delivery planning.
- Design and develop applications in compliance to functional specification and making specific determinations about system performance.
- Prototyping and researching alternative implementation strategies
- Provide response to and resolution of service tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). Develop (write, edit and debug) program code against specifications for assigned projects and legacy applications to technology standards.
- Perform source control activities.
- Perform unit and integration testing verifying technical and functional requirements.
- Perform peer review proofing of developed code prior to release.
- Setup, configure, support and maintain development and test environments.
- Prepare environment readiness and provide support to users for completion of user acceptance testing.
- Prepare production transfer documentation for review and release.
- Ensure all source code is versioned and managed according to organisation standards.
- Maintain and support production, development and test environments.
- Planning and execution of adequate testing to verify application functionality and identify adverse effects from enhancements or configuration change.
- Identifying the areas/scopes for activities like Automation & active participation
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in application development and a research-oriented approach. Proven ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
- Extensive knowledge of CICD pipeline, Configuration management, issue tracking tools and agile project management tools.
- Hands-on knowledge on application design patterns and digital technology stacks.
- Analyzed proposed technical solutions based on customer requirements.
- Work with software development and testing team members to design and develop robust solutions to meet client requirements for functionality, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with management, internal and development partners regarding software application design status and project progress.
- Develop robust, scalable, modular and API-centric infrastructures.
- Testing methodology with writing and execution of test plans, debugging and testing scripts and tools.
- Deliver unit-tested systems within target timeframes.
- Conduct regression testing and submit observations to development team.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to evaluate software and hardware interfaces.
- Preferable experience in Kubernetes, Docker and Amazon Web Services.
- Work with business stakeholder for requirement analysis and support vendor selection at optimal cost.
- Identify and raise alerts on project risks.
- Perform volume-metric analysis on application performance and remediate early warnings.
- Provide guidance and mentor less-experienced staff members.
- Coordinate efficient large-scale software deployments.
- Integrate third-party tools and components into applications.
- Identify and document project changes with proactive budget oversight.
- Communicate internal and external stakeholders of project milestones.
