Manual Tester QA (AGL1)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our application. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for problem-solving, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. The QA Tester is responsible for performing high-quality testing on applications to assess system/process quality. working closely with application developers, business analysts, and infrastructure engineers throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle to ensure systems meet organizational standards and end-user requirements.

The QA Engineer Team Member will:

Work closely with team members to ensure understanding of the acceptance criteria

Be responsible for writing and maintaining manual test scenarios and Test Cases.

Be responsible for executing those test scenarios

Be responsible for identifying defects and for documenting those defects

Be self-organized, self-motivated and require minimal supervision

Be familiar with agile development methodology and with the associated ceremonies

Be familiar with Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing and STLC phases.

Experience in Web Services and API Testing using Postman/Rest-Assured/SOAP UI.

Be a fast learner and a team player, Participate in release verification

Work to execute and refine our quality standards and processes

Test Planning, analysing test data requirements and test execution

Performing test case creation and execution.

Responsible for assuring the Quality procedures and standards related to the project

Ensuring defect follow up and closure by coordinating with different teams involved in the project

Organizing meeting with various teams for quicker resolution and closure of defects as an active member team

Build verification and validation
