Maruti Ispat & Energy - General Manager - QAD/Quality Control (18-25 yrs)

Job Context:

Alloy steel experience required

- The General Manager QAD works closely with various departments including production and supply chain to implement quality assurance protocols.

- The position requires oversight of quality control teams, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product quality and operational efficiency.

Major Challenges:

- Ensuring consistent product quality across different batches and production lines, especially when utilizing varying raw materials, can be challenging and requires thorough monitoring.

- Navigating and adhering to strict industry regulations and environmental standards while maintaining operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Effectively collecting, managing, and analyzing quality data to make informed decisions quickly, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Collaborating with other departments and resolving conflicts related to quality issues while ensuring that quality standards are prioritized in production processes and product development.

- Continuously training and developing staff to stay updated on the latest quality control methodologies and technologies, while also fostering a culture of quality awareness among employees.

- Knowledge of DRI,CPP, SMS, Strip mill and pipe mill.

- Knowledge on BIS audits and approvals. Knowledge of raw materials like Iron ore, pellets , coal and dolomite etc., professional in ERP
