Job Description

Role & responsibilities


The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading sales and marketing of function of his area of operation to maximize revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. The purpose of the role is to create and implement strategies that align sales goals with market trends, customer needs, and the company's growth objectives, while also establishing a strong market presence through effective branding and positioning efforts

  • Should be from Steel/Pipes/Cement/Paint- Industry
  • Direct Dealer Network
  • Well versed with Demography & Geography of the territory Pune
  • Should have worked in the territory for at least 5-6 years
  • Achieve or exceed revenue targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Drive sales growth in both core and emerging markets.
  • Focus on increasing profitability by managing margins and optimizing sales.
  • Identify and enter new market segments, or geographic area.
  • Expand market share by developing strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Execute strategies to counter competitive pressures and capture larger market share.
  • Implement marketing plans to enhance brand positioning and visibility.
  • Manage promotional activities to generate demand.
  • Lead campaigns to differentiate the company's products based on quality, service, and innovation.
  • Elevate the brand through events, trade shows and direct marketing campaigns.
  • Build a strong brand image that emphasizes reliability, sustainability, and innovation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through personalized service, responsive communication, and timely delivery.
  • Build long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high retention rates.
  • Identify big clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing teams to ensure high performance.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity within the team.
  • Implement training and development programs to enhance team skills and performance.
