Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager/Sales Manager to drive the growth of our agricultural technology products, including agricultural drones, HDPE pipes, sprinklers, and drippers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales strategies, expanding market share, developing relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities in the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales & Business Development:
-Identify new business opportunities in the agricultural sector for drones, HDPE pipes, sprinklers, and drippers.
-Generate leads and manage the sales pipeline to meet sales targets and KPIs.
-Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive market share growth for agricultural products.
-Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
-Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders in agriculture.
-Collaborate with the product development team to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
2. Customer Engagement:
-Present product offerings and solutions to potential clients, explaining the benefits of agricultural drones, irrigation solutions, and water management products.
-Provide consultative selling and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and product adoption.
-Understand customer needs and tailor solutions for efficient agricultural practices using advanced technologies like drones and irrigation systems.
3. Marketing & Brand Promotion:
-Promote brand visibility and awareness through marketing campaigns, trade shows, and digital platforms.
-Coordinate with the marketing team to create materials (brochures, presentations, case studies) that support sales efforts.
-Stay updated on the latest trends in agricultural technologies and incorporate them into promotional activities.
4. Sales Targets & Reporting:
-Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
-Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.
-Analyze sales data to determine performance trends and make necessary adjustments.
5. Product Knowledge & Training:
-Stay current on the features and benefits of agricultural drones, HDPE pipes, sprinklers, and drippers.
-Provide technical assistance and training to customers on the efficient use of products and solutions.
-Educate customers on industry best practices, efficiency improvements, and return on investment.
Qualifications :
-Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Sales, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
-Strong knowledge in agriculture machinery or agriculture equipment.
-Familiarity with government schemes, procurement policies, and subsidy programs.
-6+ years of experience in sales/business development, with a focus on agricultural technology, irrigation systems, or related industries.
-Proven track record in generating sales and managing client relationships in the agricultural sector.
-Familiarity with agricultural drones, HDPE pipes, sprinkler systems, and drippers is highly desirable.
-Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and customer needs.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
