As a Senior ETL Tester at Marktine Technology Solutions, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our AI-powered applications and AI-driven solutions. Your role will primarily involve test execution, test case creation, and the analysis of data across various platforms to ensure the robustness and reliability of our ETL processes.

You will work closely with the development and data engineering teams to test ETL pipelines, data transformation processes, and integrations with AI technologies. Your expertise will help validate the functionality of AI-driven solutions, identify potential issues, and contribute to the improvement of the testing process.

In addition to performing test execution, you will be expected to create detailed and effective test cases, review data quality, and ensure that the solutions we deliver meet industry standards for performance, scalability, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end testing on ETL pipelines and data integration systems, focusing on data quality, transformation, and validation.

- Ensure that data flows correctly from source to destination, meeting business requirements and functional specifications.

- Ensure the quality of data across different platforms by performing data validation and ensuring consistency and accuracy between source and target data.

- Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases for ETL processes, data transformations, and AI-driven applications, covering various data scenarios and edge cases.

- Analyze large datasets for anomalies, discrepancies, or data integrity issues.

- Use tools and SQL to query and validate data as part of testing procedures.

- Collaborate with AI and data science teams to test AI-driven applications, ensuring that data processed by AI algorithms is accurate, complete, and processed according to business logic.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and data engineers, to communicate test results, defects, and suggestions for improvement.

Performance Testing :

- Conduct load and performance testing of ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure scalability and efficiency, particularly with large volumes of data.

- Provide clear and detailed test reports, including test results, defect logs, and recommendations for improvements.

- Maintain thorough test documentation to track progress and ensure test coverage.

- Stay current with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, especially in the context of AI and big data solutions, and continuously improve testing processes.

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong experience in executing and analyzing complex ETL testing scenarios, including data migration, data transformation, and validation.

- Extensive experience in software testing, with a deep understanding of quality assurance principles, test methodologies, and lifecycle management.

- Hands-on experience in testing ETL processes and data flows, ensuring that data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded between systems.

- Familiarity with AI-powered solutions and their integration within ETL systems, including the testing of data used in AI-driven models and machine learning applications.

- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and validating data integrity.

- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python (for data analysis), or others.

- Proven experience in creating comprehensive and detailed test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear documentation and feedback.

- Relevant certifications in software testing (e., ISTQB, Certified Tester) would be an advantage.
