Job Title: Manager Accounts
Basic Function
To oversee and manage the overall accounting functions of our organization. This role involves bookkeeping, taxation (direct & indirect), statutory compliance, and receivables & payables management. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning, compliance, and strategic decision-making to ensure efficient accounting operations.
Principal Responsibilities:
ïLead and manage all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
ï Handle financial and regulatory authorities related to accounting functions.
ï Ensure timely tax payments and return filings (Income Tax, GST, and other statutory compliances).
ï Manage the finalization of accounts and coordinate with auditors for financial & Internal audits.
ï Liaise with income tax, GST, and customs authorities as per the organization's needs
ï Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
ï Oversee supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
ï Provide critical analysis of financial performance and present reports to top management.
ï Assist in strategic decision-making by offering insights on financial data.
ï Conduct and manage internal and statutory audits efficiently.
ï Drive process improvements, including 5S implementation for operational excellence.
ï Compliance related to exports and documentation
Key Performance Indicators
ïTimely Tax Payments & Filings â Ensure all regulatory compliances are met on time.
ï Receivable Management â Reduce overdue collections and improve cash flow.
ï Audit Readiness â Ensure smooth and timely completion of internal & statutory audits.
ï Process Efficiency â Effective implementation of 5S methodologies in financial operations.
Qualifications and Experience
ï Education: Graduate or equivalent in Accounting/Finance.
ï Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in accounting & financial management.
ï Technical Skills: Strong command of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and proficiency in MS Office.
ï Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills.
