Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background in bulk material handling systems. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing the design, execution, costing, and commercial aspects of bulk material handling projects. A deep understanding of belt conveyors, shuttle conveyors, travelling trippers, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, and crushing & screening equipment is essential. The role involves project planning, execution, commercial offer preparation, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely completion within budget and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution and commissioning.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings/models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers for customers based on project requirements.
• Work on RFQ (Request for Quotation) enquiries, analyze requirements, and break down RFQs to float multiple vendor enquiries.
• Evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize orders in coordination with the procurement team.
• Coordinate with design, fabrication, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct site visits across India for project supervision, client meetings, and issue resolution.
• Interact with clients, consultants, and vendors for approvals, modifications, and progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Standards (I.S), DIN, ISO, and CEMA codes for design and execution.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and site supervisors to achieve project goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in project execution, costing, and management within bulk material handling industries.
• Strong understanding of belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, shuttle conveyors, and crushing & screening equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D & 3D drawings and models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Prior experience in project costing, proposal preparation, and commercial offer documentation.
• Experience in handling RFQs, vendor sourcing, and price negotiations.
• Prior experience in coordinating fabrication, shop floor, and site installation teams.
• Ability to work under tight schedules and handle multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel across India for site visits, client meetings, and project execution.
