Skills and Qualification:-

1. ZBC

2. Should Costing Models.

3. Price Negotiation/VAVE.

4. Vendor Costing/ Supplier Development.

5. Contract Negotiations.

6. Cost Reduction & Optimization.

7. Risk Management.

8. Data-Driven Decision Making/ Costing Management.

9. Market & Competitive Analysis.

10. BE Mechanical/ any engineering stream.

Responsibilities:-

1. Should have core knowledge of Drawing study.

2. Should have knowledge 2D / 3D CAD data analysis & GAP analysis.

3. Should able to prepare / develop should costing models for New parts / product via. zero base costing, Teardown analysis.

4. Should able to prepare basic ZBC for sheet metal, machining, fabrication, casting & forging parts.

5. Should able to prepare process & tool cost.

6. Should able to prepare / develop should costing models for In-house processes.

7. Support design team for cost control & design to cost initiative.

8. Should able to Negotiation skill to bring down cost.

9. Should able negotiating with suppliers for part price and tool cost settlement, implementation of cost saving ideas VA/VE.
