Job Description
- Oversee the organizations fleet, ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance of vehicles.
- Monitor and manage vehicle records, including registration, insurance, and regular servicing.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and organizational policies.
- Develop and implement driver schedules to meet organizational needs.
- Assign pickups, drop-offs, and other transport tasks to drivers efficiently.
- Address and resolve any issues related to driver operations and availability.
- Ensure a seamless and pleasant experience for guests requiring transport services.
- Coordinate pickups and drop-offs for guests, ensuring punctuality and quality of service.
- Act as a point of contact for guest transport queries and feedback.
- Lead, train, and motivate the fleet management team to achieve high performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for drivers and administrative staff.
- Identify and address gaps in performance or training needs.
- Implement strategies to optimize fuel consumption and reduce overall fleet costs.
- Develop contingency plans for vehicle breakdowns or driver unavailability.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for all fleet activities and expenses.
- Promote and enforce adherence to safety standards among drivers.
- Conduct periodic safety checks and training sessions for the fleet team.
- Ensure vehicles are equipped with necessary safety gear and documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on fleet usage, expenses, and performance metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Communicate updates and insights to senior management as required.
