Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Civil Architect with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural design principles, civil engineering concepts, and project management, with a focus on creating innovative, functional, and sustainable building solutions. The Civil Architect will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Required Skills:

1. Lead the architectural design process for a variety of civil infrastructure projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

2. Develop architectural plans, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design software.

3. Collaborate with civil engineers to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into designs.

4. Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies, assessing site conditions, zoning regulations, and environmental factors.

5. Prepare and review technical reports, cost estimates, and project proposals.

6. Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved.

7. Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

8. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices throughout the project life-cycle.

9. Provide support during the tendering process, including evaluating bids and selecting contractors.

10. Offer design and technical advice to clients and project stakeholders to achieve design objectives and resolve any challenges that arise.

11. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, innovations, and new technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Civil Architect or in a similar role.

3. Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

4. Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural and environmental considerations.

5. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients,

contractors, and team members.

9. Experience with sustainability and green building practices is a plus.

10. Professional certification (e.g., AIA, RIBA, or equivalent) preferred.
