Deputy Manager/Manager-Internal Audit

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual internal audit plan, aligned with the company's strategic objectives and risk profile.
• Lead and manage a team of internal auditors, providing guidance, training, and oversight.
• Conduct risk-based audits of financial statements, operational processes, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to develop corrective action plans and monitor progress.
• Report audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in internal auditing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified CA with more than 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit and controls. Preferably from Big4s.
