Role Description

• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
• Procurement Purchasing: Handle the procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely availability of materials.
• Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors for optimal cost and quality.
• Inventory Control: Coordinate with stores and production teams to maintain required inventory levels.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure purchased materials meet company and industry standards.
• Cost Reduction: Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and supply reliability.
• Documentation: Maintain purchase records, contracts, and supplier evaluations.
• Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and new suppliers
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Technical Collaboration: Work with engineering and production teams to understand material specifications.
  

Required Skills Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical.
• Experience: 2-6 years of procurement or supply chain experience (preferably in Pipe/Steel manufacturing industries).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of materials, components, and industry standards.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to assess suppliers and analyze cost-benefit scenarios

Experience: 2-6 years in Pipe/Steel industry in same field.

Qualification: Diploma/BE - Electrical/Mechanical.
