Job Description

Job Title: Account Manager

Reports to: Sales Manager / General Manager

Job Summary:

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the client base for Audio Visual systems. This position involves cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and managing the sales cycle from prospecting to successful deal closure. The Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Prospecting & Client Acquisition : Identify and target potential sales prospects within the assigned territory. Generate accurate sales forecasts and activity reports for management.

- Consultative Sales Approach : Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their visual collaboration needs and recommend tailored solutions.

- Quotations & Bid Responses : Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and bid responses, ensuring profitability and completeness.

- Contract & Pricing Management : Develop and submit contracts and pricing strategies for target accounts.

- Business Planning : Create and execute a strategic business plan for sales growth, focusing on both expanding existing accounts and acquiring new business.

- Sales Execution : Implement quarterly sales plans to meet established quotas and drive revenue growth.

- Client Relationship Management : Maintain and expand relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and fostering long-term partnerships.

- Collaboration with Installation Team : Coordinate with the installation team to ensure smooth transition from sale to implementation.

- Sales Tools & Prospecting : Leverage tools like webinars, seminars, and social media campaigns to increase sales, attract new clients, and grow the customer base.

- Client Follow-ups : Respond to inquiries and leads promptly (within 24 hours) and actively pursue outstanding sales opportunities.

- Market Representation : Represent the company at industry events, briefings, and trade shows as needed.

- Training & Development : Participate in training programs to continually enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

- Commission Tracking : Monitor non-installed product commissions on a weekly basis to ensure timely completion by month-end.

- Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall business objectives.

Skills & Abilities :

- Strong understanding of visual collaboration products and services.

- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively.

- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters discreetly.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.

Education & Experience:

- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

- Preferred Education: A four-year degree in business, sales, or a related field.

- Required Experience: 5-7 years of direct sales experience in AV, VTC, Telecommunications, or technology industries.

- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Salesforce and AV/VTC/Telecommunications/Technology industry sales.

Working Environment:

- The position operates in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels (e.g., inter-office conversations, computer/office equipment).

- Standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers, will be used regularly.
