Job Title: Independent Consultant - Semiconductor Manufacturing Expert

Job Overview:

As an Independent Consultant, you will work closely with our team and clients to provide strategic guidance and actionable insights on semiconductor manufacturing processes, infrastructure optimization, and technical advancements. You will leverage your extensive experience to drive improvements in manufacturing operations, address specific challenges, and implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consulting & Advisory: Provide expert advice on semiconductor manufacturing processes, infrastructure needs, and technology solutions.

- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and production optimization within semiconductor manufacturing plants.

- Infrastructure Assessment: Assess existing manufacturing infrastructure and recommend solutions for upgrades, expansions, or design enhancements.

- Technology Integration: Guide the integration of new technologies, tools, and automation systems to streamline production and improve quality.

- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and needs, offering tailored solutions and actionable recommendations.

- Risk Mitigation: Help clients identify risks in their manufacturing processes and infrastructure and recommend strategies to mitigate these risks.

- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Provide training to internal teams and client personnel to ensure sustainable implementation of strategies and solutions.

- Project Management Support: Support or lead the implementation of recommended infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

- Experience: Minimum of 9 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a strong background in manufacturing processes, infrastructure design, and operational efficiency.

- Expertise: Extensive knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing techniques, equipment, and infrastructure requirements.

- Consulting Experience: Proven experience in an advisory or consulting capacity, preferably in the semiconductor industry or related sectors.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in evaluating and improving manufacturing infrastructure, automation, and systems integration.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Project Management: Experience in managing or supporting infrastructure projects from assessment to implementation.

Preferred Skills:

- Become familiar with industry standards and regulations in semiconductor manufacturing.

- Experience with facility layout, cleanroom design, and equipment lifecycle management.

- Knowledge of data analytics and advanced technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, machine learning) as applied to semiconductor manufacturing.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
