Functional Responsibilities:
- Strategize and implement visual design and content-driven strategy for Malabar Group.
- Work closely with central and regional marketing teams on conceptualizing and designing marketing initiatives, taking projects from brief to execution, with the flexibility of generating multiple communications and the ability to translate designs on multiple channels of communications (offline and online)
- Develop creative vision, guide development and execution of visual identity and messaging across all aspects of the brand experience including all channels.
- Responsible for driving and executing the content strategy across the organisation.
- Create and update ad-maintained brand guidelines and visual tone of voice.
- Partner on business strategy and play the critical role of bringing the strategy to life creatively across the marketing channels as well as on our platforms.
- Develop and provide a context for the creative teams to develop aspirational brand imagery.
- Lead the creation of world-class, beautiful visuals that support and reinforce the vision in keeping up with the business and marketing strategy for the brand.
- Work closely with CRM team, merchandising team, product managers, other internal departments to ensure a unified approach to providing an engaging brand experience for the customer.
- Responsible to view and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges.
- Analyze creative demands, anticipate bottlenecks and manage workflow.
- Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, photographers/videographers, in the strategic development of messages and deliverables.
- Deliver essential new ideas and lead the editorial, content, social, creative and production partners, and oversee the execution.
- Manage and lead creative reviews and presentations, while successfully presenting concepts and powerful narratives for management, to influence business and creative decisions.
- Strategize and implement brand revamp and plan visual identity development for short- and long- term roadmaps.
- Plan and manage the creative budget.
