Key Responsibilities :

Tool and Infrastructure Development : Develop, configure, and maintain advanced development tools and infrastructure to support software development and release processes.

Automation and Optimization : Lead initiatives to automate and optimize build, deployment, and monitoring processes for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

Troubleshooting : Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software development, deployment, and system functionality.

Security : Ensure implementation of robust security measures and processes to safeguard systems against cybersecurity threats.

Collaboration : Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and IT teams to streamline operations and ensure system functionality and performance.

Architectural Design : Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance solutions.

Open Source Technologies : Leverage open-source tools and technologies to meet sophisticated project and system requirements.

Custom Workflow Design : Utilize coding and scripting expertise (e.g, Python, Shell) to design and implement custom workflows for various processes.

Deployment Oversight : Oversee the deployment of updates, patches, and fixes while ensuring minimal downtime or disruptions to the system.

Root Cause Analysis : Conduct detailed root cause analysis for production errors and devise corrective measures to improve system reliability.

Technical Issue Resolution : Lead the investigation and resolution of high-impact technical issues in production and development environments.

Project Management : Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met.

Qualifications and Skills :

Experience :

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.

Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.

DevOps Expertise : Solid understanding of the core pillars of DevOps, including :

- Networking fundamentals.

- Linux and Windows operating systems.

- Programming languages (e.g, JavaScript, Python).

- Cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

- DevOps tools and best practices.

Process-Driven: Excellent documentation, organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset for driving operational efficiencies.

IT Operations: Strong grasp of IT operations and best practices for ensuring high availability, system security, and resilience.

Agile Methodologies: Practical experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Technical Proficiency :

Container Orchestration : Advanced experience with Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS.

CI/CD Tools : Expertise in administering and deploying continuous integration and deployment tools (e.

Infrastructure Scripting : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell for automating infrastructure tasks.

Serverless Architectures : Experience in serverless computing frameworks.

Monitoring and Alerting Tools : Hands-on experience with monitoring solutions like Grafana and Prometheus.

Code Quality Tools : Familiarity with code scanning tools such as SonarQube.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, with a preference for Terraform.

Flexibility : Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Certifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
