Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (4-6 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our prestigious client.

In this role, you will play a critical part in building, deploying, and maintaining our client's cloud-native infrastructure.

You will work closely with development teams to automate and streamline our CI/CD processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.

Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

- Provision and manage VMs on Azure.

- Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.

- Configure and manage networking components (load balancing, routing, VPNs).

- Implement and maintain security best practices across all cloud resources.

CI/CD & Automation :

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.

- Implement and manage containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Develop and maintain deployment manifests for Kubernetes.

Database Administration :

- Manage and maintain both on-premises and cloud-hosted databases.

- Experience with database migration and upgrade activities.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement and manage security measures, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.

- Ensure compliance with relevant security and industry standards.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Diagnose and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.

- Provide timely and effective support to development teams.

Qualifications :

Essential Skills :

- Strong experience with Azure cloud platform.

- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.

- Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.

- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems.

- Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts (load balancing, routing, VPNs).

- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell is mandatory).

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable Skills :

- Experience with Hashicorp Vault.

- Experience with Python scripting.

- Experience with Kafka.

- Experience with database administration (e., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Experience with security tools and best practices.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
