Deputy Manager - Transmission CME

Responsible for Planning and execution of New Transmission Assembly Testing Facility.
Planning of Process, Layout Logistics.
Ensuring zero defect, on-time delivery, Troubleshooting improvements - First time right.
Process automatiom concept development implementation.
Plant layout Process layout design with industrial standards.
APQP PPAP documents (PFC,PFMEA,CP,DFMEA,MFMEA,DAP) - preparation / Updation.
Ensure BOM validation with Process Team, PDRDS team and on-time ER implementation.
Regular interaction with stakeholders for smooth implementation hand over.
Regular interaction with suppliers to ensure on time receipt of equipment.
Preparation of RFQ, scope of supply, technical finalisation including occupational safety new assy line.
Ensure trial parts availability for acceptance prove-out trials.
Ensure all the safety during installation of equipment.
Ensuring smooth Productionizing of new product applicable quality standards as per plan.
Ensure active participation of employees in QC stories, OIT, CIT, Kaizens etc and Cost innovations.
Ensure 100% handing over of documents / drawings to plant engg team.
Handing over of all consumables with Mahindra part no with updated drawings / specifications.

2 to 7 years of relevant experience in Transmission, Powertrain assembly .

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile
Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile
Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile

Hands-on experience on planning of new Transmission assy. and testing lines.
Well conversant with transmission and Trans-axle assy. testing processes.
Knowledge of transmission rework strategy facility planning.
Knowledge of IPVs, torque tools, Poka Yoke.
Knowledge on line balancing.
Hands on experience of assembly tool fixture design.
Knowledge of APQP PPAP documentation
Exposure kit planning at assly area
Basic knowledge of electronic controls programming.
