Engineer Weldline Design

Role
Executionof all design related activities for weld lines and generation drawing and documents
Responsibilities
Good knowledge of softwares like CATIA, UG etc.

Development of 3D design and 2D drawings
Generation of design ideas to save cost
3D 2D design using CATIA software
Generation of Layout (fixture + trenches + cable tray)
Generation of Process Documents, Generation of Cycle time sheets
Generation of Drawing release doc
Conducting Internal design review along with individual
Ensuring closure of internal design concerns raised
Training to all engineers for software and processes
Closure of issues occurring while assembly + trials
Generation of DCR
Continuous monitoring of plan, based on planned activities
Benchmarking
Identification maximizing use of standard parts to be made
Lesson learn capturing
identifying opportunities for implementation of lesson learnt captured
Ensuring customer approval on fixtures for FTR pass of design
Ensure closure of all DAP concerns before release to manufacturing
Ensuring fixture and jigs in ergonomic condition

Installation support at site
