Vehicle scrap manager

Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Vehicle Scrap Department. The HOD will be responsible for overseeing all operations related to vehicle dismantling, recycling, and disposal. This role requires strategic planning, team management, and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire vehicle scrap process from collection to disposal, ensuring efficiency and compliance with legal standards.
• Supervise the dismantling and recycling of vehicles to maximize material recovery and minimize waste.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in all scrap handling activities.
• Negotiate with suppliers, customers, and scrap vendors to secure favorable terms and optimize scrap value.
• Lead and manage a team of technicians and staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Monitor inventory and report on material quality, quantities, and disposal metrics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare regular reports on department performance, financial targets, and operational challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• Any Graduation.
• Proven experience in vehicle scrap management or related industry (automotive, recycling, waste management).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and recycling practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role in the scrap or recycling industry.
