Purchase Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1) Identify Potential vendors

2) Knowledge on foundry raw materials, consumables and spares including machine shop products.

3) Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers.

4) ISO documentation and capable to handle and face QMS audits

5) Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing

6) Track orders and ensure timely delivery

7) Get the products to appropriate facility within specified lead time, knowledge on JIT and Logistic operation.

8) Online sourcing for machining tools.

9) ERP system knowledge

10) Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices

11) Understanding of supply chain procedures.

12) Knowledge on electrical and mechanical accessory for Foundry and machine shop.

Candidates specifically from CNC Machine Shop purchase experience can apply.
