Developing custom applications for GE Smallworld products using Magik a unique coding language Integrate various 3rd party systems that supports day-to-day GIS operations with GIS system using Smallworld GSS 5.x Smallworld data modelling and system administration Upgrading older versions of GIS systems (3.x,4.x versions) to Smallworld 5 (Magik on Java) and its custom modules Perform requirement gathering, analysis, estimation, architecture designing, development and implementation for GIS applications. Conduct impact analysis on integrated upstream and downstream systems with data model changes incorporated in GIS system Coordinate with technical leads and architects to provide details of alignment changes to GIS Smallworld and log the project changes used across ongoing projects necessary to resolve conflicts. Conduct user training, performing periodic system updates, interacting with users for future enhancements. Overview We are looking for a talented Smallworld Developer with strong skills in Smallworld Suite of products and magik programming language. The candidate should be able to design, develop, and maintain Smallworld GIS applications. The candidate should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the business requirements.
