Key skills for the job
Understand customer and market needs within the utilities segment. Design, create and demonstrate custom solutions tailored to requirements for utilities. Execute, and deliver Proof of Concept (PoC) based on scope defined. Work as a consultant/advisor to customer organizations for supporting them to achieve their vision. Team up closely with sales in technical business development activities, focusing on closing deals and developing pursuit strategies. Formulate proposal document, conduct solution/product demonstrations that align with customer s business needs. Define and implement a structured way of handling opportunities -client meeting / solution pitch / RFP response / RFI response / presentation etc. Take lead / participate in opportunity assessment, qualification, developing response strategy, proposal development, review and feedback process, competitive positioning, pricing / commercial preparation Generate technical sales material ready to use during proposal response - Methodologies, Approach, case studies, etc. Ensure clear articulation of business and technical value proposition, in the context of opportunity specific requirements. Anchoring client visits - from the stage of planning, identifying key participants, story board for the meeting, reviewing content, planning demos / team discussions and front ending the discussion. Project Execution - Lead kick-off meetings, facilitate user requirements, design workshops, act as functional expert to offshore team, participate in IT UAT Testing, Training Content, etc. Candidate with ESRI Certification will be given preference Minimum of 10+ years of experience in solution conceptualization within Geospatial Technology and implementing GIS/Location Analytics (Esri or other) solutions in the Utilities domain. Understanding of new technology areas such as ArcGIS Pro, Utility Network, ArcFM Editor XI, ArcFM Designer, ArcGIS Enterprise Concepts, and Utility Data Models. Hands-on experience with GIS software with expertise in the utility domain required.
