• E-Invoicing & Tax Integration : Configure and implement e-invoicing solutions (eg, SAP Document Compliance), integrate with tax engines ONESOURCE and ensure compliance with VAT, GST, and withholding taxes.
• Tax Authority Integration : Interface with tax authorities for submissions, e-invoicing, and stay updated on country-specific mandates.
• VIM & OpenText Management : Automate invoice workflows, manage scanning and archiving, and ensure tax compliance in VIM and OpenText.
• Indirect Tax & Compliance : Configure SAP tax determination logic, support audits, and integrate third-party tax engines.
• DevOps Environment : Candidate has to work in DevOps work environment.
• Cross-Module Integration : Ensure smooth SAP FI/MM integration for end-to-end tax processes, aligning tax determination with PTP workflows.
• Automation & Optimization : Automate tax calculations and compliance checks, leveraging VIM and OpenText for digitization and efficiency.
• Testing & Issue Resolution : Conduct testing, resolve tax issues, and ensure regular system updates.
• Compliance & Audits : Maintain audit trails, monitor tax compliance, and implement system changes as regulations evolve.

• Bachelor s Degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Master s Degree in Taxation or Finance is a plus.

SAP Certifications (Preferred):

• SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and MM (Materials Management) certifications with a focus on tax functionality.
• OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) certification is a plus.

• 5-8 years working in SAP, specifically in the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) e-invoicing , Indirect Tax (ITX) derivation with a focus on tax-related processes.
• 3-5 years hands-on experience in VIM/OpenText scanning solutions is a plus.

• E-Invoicing : Experience with implementation of E invoicing mandates, Integration with third-party tax engines ONESOURCE.
• Indirect Tax Derivation (ITX) : Expertise in VAT, GST, withholding taxes, SAP tax procedures, and integration with tax engines for real-time compliance.
• VIM & OpenText : Configuring VIM solutions using OpenText, automating invoice workflows, and managing tax-related documents for compliance and audits.
• Tax Authority Integration : Experience with tax authority submissions, real-time filings, and managing tax-related communications, including audit support.
• Cross-Module SAP Expertise : Strong knowledge of SAP MM module, with cross-module integration for tax functionality.
• Project Management & Optimization : Experience in SAP implementations, process automation, and streamlining PTP processes.
• Audit & Compliance : Experience with audit trails, tax audits, and staying up-to-date with global and local tax regulations.

• Problem-solving & Analytical : Troubleshooting complex tax issues related to tax determination, invoicing, and authority submissions.
• Communication & Collaboration : Working with cross-functional teams and external tax authorities.
• Project Management : Managing SAP tax-related projects and optimizations.
• Regulatory Knowledge : Deep understanding of global tax regulations, particularly VAT, GST, and e-invoicing mandates.
