What we are looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and implementing robust data pipelines on leading cloud platforms. You will not only excel in technical execution but also receive guidance and mentorship to senior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of scalable and secure data pipelines on leading cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, GCP, Azure) using services like Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, or similar offerings.
• Develop and maintain tabular models in Azure Analysis Services (AAS) . Optimize model performance, manage partitions, and ensure efficient query execution.
• Build logical and physical data models to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within the models. Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs. Write and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
• Work with tools like Azure Data Factory or ETL pipelines for data preparation and transformation.
  Build data models in Dremio, SQL End point or AAS and present data visually.
• Ensure good data modelling practices are followed to ensure optimized tables.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to identify and extract relevant features for model training.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of technical standards and best practices including data flow diagrams, Logical designs, physical designs

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in Azure Analysis Services , Power BI , and data modeling .
  Strong knowledge of DAX , Power Query , and SQL .
  Hands-on experience with creating and optimizing tabular models in Azure Analysis Services.
  Proficiency in designing scalable and efficient data models.
  Familiarity with Azure Data Factory , Azure SQL Database , or other data integration tools.
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
• Experience with DevOps principles and practices for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
