Psychometrician

Job Description:

As the Psychometrician, you will ensure the scientific rigor and accuracy of assessments, playing a vital role in enhancing the reliability and validity of educational measurements. This role is perfect for someone passionate about leveraging statistical methodologies to improve education systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and validate assessment tools using Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT).
• Analyze and refine assessment blueprints for alignment with competencies.
• Pilot and validate question banks to ensure effectiveness and usability
• Conduct item analysis and recommend improvements based on test performance.
• Support data-driven recommendations for assessment reforms and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Masters or PhD in Psychometrics, Educational Measurement, Statistics, or Quantitative Psychology.
• Strong knowledge of CTT, IRT, and large-scale assessment programs.
• Experience in item writing, analysis, and validation.

Preferred location - Gurugram, Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla.
