Job Description:

Astral Limited is looking for a skilled ITI Fitter to support the maintenance and smooth operation of adhesive production machinery. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine assembly, repair, and preventive maintenance within a manufacturing or adhesives production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Machine Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform installation, assembly, and maintenance of adhesive production equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults in machinery.
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.

🔹 Production Support:

• Ensure proper machine alignment and lubrication for smooth operation.
• Assist the production team in handling machine-related issues.

🔹 Safety & Compliance:

• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines during maintenance activities.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance tasks and equipment performance.

🔹 Spare Parts & Tools Handling:

• Maintain inventory of tools and machine spare parts.
• Ensure timely replacement of worn-out parts to prevent breakdowns.

Key Skills & Attributes:

✔ ITI Fitter certification (Mechanical or related trade)
✔ Experience in machine maintenance & troubleshooting
✔ Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical fittings
✔ Ability to work independently and in a team
✔ Adherence to safety standards & operational protocols

Qualifications:

🎓 ITI – Fitter (Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering)
📌 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing unit (Freshers with relevant training can apply)
📌 Experience in adhesives, chemicals, FMCG, or related industries is preferred
