Restaurant Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
• Monitor and enhance service quality to exceed customer expectations.
• Implement efficient workflows to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant environment.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage employee schedules effectively.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Uphold the brand's commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer dining experience.

Financial Management:

• Monitor and manage the restaurant's expenses, and financial performance.
• Implement cost-control measures (material, labour and other operating costs) without compromising quality.
• Review financial reports on a regular basis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
• Participate in the development and implementation of annual operating plans and budgets
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate Cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure favourable terms and pricing

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and Central laws and regulations
• Documentation to meet audit requirements (Quality and financial)

Marketing and Promotion:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local marketing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for promotions and partnerships to increase brand visibility.
• Engage with the local community to build brand awareness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role, preferably in the Restaurant industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Understanding of local market trends and customer preferences.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record of achieving operational and financial excellence.
