Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Dairy Milk Procurement Professional to lead the farmers organization and optimize milk procurement processes and ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the dairy industry in the area of milk operation procurement, strategic vision, and category management, combined with technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Vision & Planning:
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for milk procurement BMC /CC of assigned geographical areas that aligns with organizational goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the procurement process.
• Ensure sustainability and efficiency in procurement BMC /CC members.
2. Milk Procurement Process Management:
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end milk procurement process from dairy farmers and collection centers.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the procurement of high-quality raw milk.
• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and compliance with standards.
3. Transportation Management:
• Optimal transportation cost by maintaining coordination relationships with the transporter.
• Negotiate contracts with transports to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
4. Data Analysis & Technology Integration:
• Leverage data analytics to monitor procurement trends, optimize supply chain performance, and make data-driven decisions.
• Integrate and utilize advanced technology for tracking procurement operations and ensuring transparency.
5. Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve procurement and supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments, farmers, and external stakeholders to build strong relationships.
6. Technical Knowledge & Compliance:
• Apply technical knowledge of dairy technology and milk production processes to improve procurement practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Dairy Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Food Technology, or Rural Management.
• 8–12 years of experience in the dairy industry, specifically in milk procurement and supply chain management.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, procurement operations, and category management.
• BMC /CC meeting point for the farmers and overall process of procurement to lookover.
• To take care of the following farmers meeting, new membership, extensions, coordination relationship by VCG meeting and other awareness programs and activities.
