Scrum Master

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of the scrum team in Agile

methodology.

• Arrange daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings and decision-making processes to ensure quick

inspection.

• Support the team achieve sprint goals, Planning, Grooming, Retrospective meeting.
• Remove roadblocks which helps team focus on sprint deliverables and highlight blockers, sprint

delivery progress to leadership team.

• Helps product owners to prioritize the product backlogs and make them ready for the next sprint.
• Responsible for conducting retrospective meetings and taking lessons learned into action.
• Organizes and facilitates the sprint planning meeting.
• Knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs.
• Should be able to dynamically respond to change of requirements and priority.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and conflicts and escalates and tracks impediments in alignment with

stakeholders.

• Bring attention to the risk and collaborate closely with stakeholders, internal tech teams, and external

tech teams to develop a mitigating strategy.
