Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Scheduling Manager to join our dynamic team of professionals. The Planning and Scheduling Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of renewable energy projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to timelines, reporting, and effective communication among various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning: - Develop comprehensive project plans that encompass all phases of renewable energy projects, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to gather input and ensure alignment on project schedules and deliverables.
- Utilize project management tools (Primavera P6) to create detailed work breakdown structures and project schedules.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineering, SCM, Operations and other functions, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project timelines.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and deviations from the project plan.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress and performance.
- Generate regular reports for senior management, highlighting project status, potential issues, and proposed solutions.
- Monitor construction budgets and expenditures to ensure they align with approved project budgets.
- Optimize resource allocation to meet project objectives efficiently.
- Address and resolve project related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to unforeseen challenges.
- Collaborate with project managers to prepare and submit project closure reports.
- Identification of lessons learned and areas of improvement.
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven 7+ Years of experience in planning and scheduling roles for renewable energy (Wind, Solar, Hybrid) projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credentials preferred.
- Six Sigma certification to be preferred.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools and software (Primavera P6).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changes in project scope, timelines, and priorities.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and industry trends.
- At site across PAN India
